Spiral Art Work

Hello everyone,
    Today i am here to share with a new type of art i.e, 'Spiral Art Work'. I have been long wanting to try out this technique that Ritu Gera  uses in her awesome quilling works.Let me introduce, Ritu Gera,she is not just a quiller but also a Paper Cutting artist.Her works are just speechless.She has introduced this art-form and i just want to thank her for sharing with us her technique .
    I have used the same technique for this art.This art work  really really  took me a lot of time to finish up. Because i have done it on a very big size paper i.e, 12" by 16".It took a month for me,being too lazy at some point.I have used multicolored paper stripes for this quilled spiral art.
    Actually the art work is abstract quilled art.The theme of it is  musical instrument for the love of music,which i love it a lot means a lot.I used 3 mm of stripes to make this fold.

Quilled Girl

 Hello,
    This is a unique project which i was almost afraid to start because Disha ,who had requested me to make this had not given me the choice of color or any idea to start .she just wanted her named to be quilled. Then,i selected the theme to be more girly and each letter of the theme designed to show that.
    Each letter has its significance.'A'is shaped in a representation of a Girl,who's skirt has got the alphabet 'A' in it,'I' represents a tree with lots of flower and too greenly,attracting lots of butterfly. I move the butterfly until i got the right spot,i.e girl hand which normally girls prefer to do it.I had also added some more butterflies near tree and on alphabet 'H' also by using punches.I used 5mm of stripes for 'DISHA'.

Painting inspiration.

    Here comes a painting which is just inspired by a famous painter named Maqbool Fida Husain, commonly known as MF Husain who needs no introduction .

    I was searching on internet a painting to paint and just came through it and painted it , but later on i knew that it was MF Hussain's Painting.I love the painting because the combination of both lady and peacock is related to dance and joy,that's make the simple painting lovely .I have used watercolor for this painting from camlin.I had drawn it on A3 size paper.

Quilled Name

Hello everyone,
   I am super excited to tell you all that I got my first order from Facebook Page. I think sharing your art on Facebook and instagram is just like opening your world of magic to others.
   On the months of February I had quilled my name Sonam and the order was on it,i.e same pattern but different name. It was my biggest and most challenging art.I was convinced that  I will never be able to quill again. The order arose me and the idea of making slowly started to form.
  Miss Disha just wanted the colour as I used before means the rainbow theme. I did the art on A3 size so that her name 'soni' which i had to quill will be easier to use more colours.  I had used six colour of stripes to complete it.It took me a week to have the finish look which was just awesome. I have used 5mm of stripes.

I have framed the art work.

The name of Allah

Hello everyone,
  I am so excited to let you know that after a long time i painted. As all of know that I am newly learning calligraphy....My second last post was on it. Ahh,I have been long wanting to paint something religious for my room. It makes me feel calm and blessed.
  Let me describe about my art.So this time I have calligraphed some Arabic words(the name of Allah) .I have used paint brush for this art and the background of it is painted by me.I was willing the words to look like 3d but i can't made it out even  though I tried, which can be easily seen on my painting. Hope you all love it.

A beautiful quilled butterfly

Hello everyone,
     I'm excited to show you all my latest work.Its actually a butterfly quilled,which is my first art on butterfly..super happy... Make Me like sing a song.
    Ok,let me tell how the idea of butterfly stuck to me. I was just browsing for pretty flowers wallpapers on internet, suddenly I saw both butterfly and flowers and ofcourse both look awesome that everyone new.So I just thought of quilling that wallpaper as my art and without delay started it.

     For this art,the background of it is painted by me as same as the wallpaper. The most important part of this art is butterfly which is a common Indian butterfly, named as Jazebell butterfly. I loved it because it had two patterns on its wing; inner portion of the wing is colored and the upper upper part is just the white. The flowers are quite in bright colour which just look lovely on greenish background. I have used 3 mm of stripes. Hope you all liked it.

My first calligraphy.

   How are you all,I know everyone must be fine by Allah blessings.I am excited to tell you that I have learned something new this time & ofcourse from internet,which is my only learning spot.I have learned calligraphy which is a visual art related to writing with a board tip instrument such as dip pen ✒ or brush. A contemporary calligraphic practice can be defined as, "the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner".Well this is about calligraphy just for general knowledge.
   Let me tell you about my art.I have designed my name with my husband's name. I was just giving a try but the final result was wordless for me.So I thought of posting it on my blog.Hope you all love it. In future, I would love to quill it but not know because working on new project.....  It's a secret which will be revealed after the work is completed.

Quilled my name with my love

Hello everyone,
After a long time I am back with my stuff. My last post was in the months of October and we are now on Feb, so I m quite away from my blog last few months back. Let me tell you why??? You all may be willing to know..... Ooks its due to my marriage. Actually it was on 25th of December 2015.
     So,marriage is a big word for a bride.... Means lots of shopping, selecting bridal jewellery and ofcourse lahenga for the big day,and also getting an appointment from Parlour and lots of work load. I know who have passed from this channel may know the load.
     Well, let me describe about my quilled art. Its my name quilled with my husband name, which is actually hidden in it. Oh my pet name is sonam, in India is actually common to have a pet name. Ahh my husband's name is Sahid which is just peeping out in my name.Another thing this is the first time ever I talked a lot on my blog. I hope in future I will continue doing lots of chatting and ofcourse taking my blog seriously means posting one of my art on every month.The theme of this art is rainbow colours.I was inspired by Sabeena karnik's art. Actually I loved her use of colours in a perfect manner.I have used 5mm of paper stripes for my art. Hope you all liked it.  
    Ah as a hint to my viewers, the name of my husband is quilled in beehive style. Find the 5 alphabets.. And have lots of fun.... 😀
